I really wanted to make some Swan Lake inspired Cupcakes this year and I just love how these turned out.. The first thing that I did was to get some cupcakes you can buy some from your local supermarket or you can make some cupcakes yourself you can find the cupcake recipe here. Then you can either make the swans yourself with a mould and some fondant you can find a swan mould here.. Or you can just get some Swan Ornaments I found some pretty ones here and here to add to your cupcake.. (I really love the idea to add a pretty Swan Ornament because then people have a cute little present that they can take home with them) Then I just got my piping bag with some pink buttercream.. You just add a swirl of pink buttercream and then you add a little circle of fondant ( I just get some pink fondant roll it out and cut out a little circle using a cookie cutter ) Make sure that the circle is big enough to add to your cupcake.. Then you add a little dot of buttercream to your swan so it sticks to the circle and voila you have a beautiful Swan Lake inspired cupcake.. I just love how these little cakes turned out.. Such a lovely treat and they look so pretty as well..
