I am so in love with the Nutcracker Ballet and I’ve always wanted to create the beautiful land of sweets, last year I’ve created a little video inspired by the Land of Sweets you can see it here.. and this year I wanted to go all out and created a wonderful high tea inspired by the Land of Sweets from the Nutcracker Ballet.. I always love to watch the Nutcracker ballet, especially during the Christmas Holiday Season.. I light my favourite Christmas candle ( my favorite Christmas candle is the Yankee Snowflake Cookies candle) and I make myself all of these delicious treats and sweets inspired by the Nutcracker Ballet.. I just love to watch George Balanchine’s Nutcracker from 1993 it’s such a beautiful movie with Macaulay Culkin as the Nutcracker.. I just love this version from the New York Ballet so much.. the music and the costumes are truly so beautiful and so magical and my favourite part has to be when Clara and her Prince go through the snowflakes to the Land of Sweets where they see the Christmas tree Angels and where the Sugar Plum Fairy is waiting for her, Then the Sugarplum fairy introduces all the delights of her Land Hot Chocolate from Spain, Coffee from Arabia, Chines Tea, The Candy Canes, Mother Ginger, Marzipan, Dewdrop and her Garden of Flowers and of course the handsome Prince.. It’s such a magical Christmas Story.. I am also sharing how to make a delicious Pink hot chocolate inspired by the Sugar Plum Fairy..
